PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police say a Pittsfield Twp. man fired a shot at a snow removal worker, apparently upset that the worker had moved snow around his wife's vehicle.

Police say a bullet shattered the windshield of a front-end loader that was being used to clear snow Tuesday morning at Valley Ranch Apartments. The operator wasn't injured.

Police responded and the 39-year-old suspect was taken into custody. The man was being held at the Washtenaw County Jail pending a review by prosecutors.

The vehicle that was shot at was one of five or six trucks out removing snow from the parking lot Tuesday morning after more than 4 more inches of snow fell.
