INVERNESS (FOX 13) -

Two Citrus County paramedics are accused of operating a home meth lab.

According to the arrest affidavit, Jeffrey Kehr and Heather Carson are EMTs with Nature Coast Emergency Medical Services. They were arrested Wednesday, along with Kehr's live-in girlfriend, Stephanie Smith.

Deputies say they found a homemade meth lab in Kehr's South Fernpark Terrace garage, along with chemicals used to make the drug and some cooked product.

Kehr allegedly admitted to using meth while on the job.

Deputies say two children were living in the home. They were put into DCF custody.
