Texas Roadhouse held its annual National Meat Cutting Challenge on Wednesday.
Twenty-nine of the country's best meat cutters gathered at The Ice Factory in Kissimmee to trim fat and slice large chunks of beef to produce the best quality steaks.
Participants cut all types of meat from ribeyes to sirloins to tenderloins. Judges scored based on accuracy, yield, and quality of each cut.
The top eight from the competition will go on to compete in the finals, which will be held in April in Amelia Island. They will compete for a grand prize total of $20,000.
Following the competition, the meat was grilled and served at a luncheon, which benefited Give Kids the World.
Texas Roadhouse also donated meat to the St. Cloud Food Bank.
