A lemur in London is hoping to go viral. The lemur snatched a camera right out of the hand of a zoo worker and started snapping away.

Zoo Officials say a photographer recently took pictures of the animals to check on their condition and coat condition.

The lemur got a hold of the camera and the photographer let him have fun.

"He just kind of took it away with him and we just thought okay we'll see where this goes, and he just took some brilliant pictures. It was really funny," says Zookeeper Lucy Hawley. ""He is a bit of a character. We like to think he's got quite a lot of lines on his face, worry lines from being the boss. But he's generally quite relaxed. I think he rules from afar. He keep them all in hand, but he doesn't throw his weight around too much.''

Lemurs are known to be really social animals, so they groom each other, they run around, and play together.

The photographer at the zoo was impressed with the Lemur's selfie skills.
