DETROIT (WJBK) - Police say a shooting on Detroit's east side has left one man dead and another critically wounded.

The men in their 30s got into an argument with two men outside a home on the 5500 block of Talbot.

Sgt. Michael Woody says it wasn't immediately clear how the situation escalated. A description of the suspects wasn't immediately available.

Woody says over 30 shell casings were marked as evidence outside the home.

At the scene, investigators took photos of footprints in the snow near the home.
