Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Rite Aid in Overbrook on March 25th at approximately 2:46 a.m.
The robbery happened at the Rite Aid located at 5040 City Line Avenue.
Police say the suspect walked into the store, selected a Hershey's candy bar and placed it on the counter. He then revealed a handgun in the waist of his jeans and demanded money.
The employee gave the man an undetermined amount of money from the register.
The suspect took the money and candy bar and fled in an unknown direction.
Police describe the suspect as a black male in his late 20's, 6'0" in height, with a medium build.
He was dressed in blue jeans, a black coat and black cap.
