ATLANTA, Ga. -

Digital billboards along metro Atlanta freeways are flashing descriptions of a murder suspect from the Washington, D.C., area who police believe could be traveling with a missing girl.

FBI spokesman Stephen Emmett said the suspect -- 51-year-old Kahlil Malik Tatum -- is believed to have ties to the Atlanta area.

Washington D.C. police are searching for 8-year-old Relisha Tenau Rudd, who was reported missing last week, and Tatum, who is charged with killing his wife in Maryland.

Law officers issued arrest warrants for Tatum after he was charged with first-degree murder and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

The body of 51-year-old Andrea Tatum was found March 20 in a motel room in Oxon Hill, Md., where officers had gone to assist Washington, D.C., police in the search for Relisha.
