    Summer is not over just yet!  Hot and humid conditions much of the week with temps in the 90's and upper 80's.

     

     

     

     

    Summer is not over just yet! Today will be very hot and humid with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s and mostly sunny skies.  A cold front will bring some thunderstorms tonight, some of which may be severe.

    Wednesday will be less humid but it remains warm all week long.

    Thursday (89/67): Sunny/Hot

PHILADELPHIA -

A Flood Watch issued by the National Weather Service has been extended through Sunday night as a large, slow-moving rainmaker moves through the region.

The Flood Watch is up for northern Delaware along with parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are expected with a few areas probably receiving close to 4 inches of rain.

The rain started falling before Saturday morning in Philadelphia. Some of the heaviest rain will fall overnight, but there's now expected to be a second round of heavy rain on Sunday afternoon.

"Heavy rains will fall overnight, but there will be a second round of heavy rains Sunday afternoon," the weather service says.

As a result of these periods of excessive rainfall, there could be flooding in areas with poor drainage, urban areas and along small creeks and streams.

The flooding could continue for several hours after the rains have ended.

And out FOX Futurecast shows there could even be a little bit of mixed precipitation on the back end of this storm early Monday in our area...
