Family grieves as body of missing relative discovered in Lilburn

LILBURN, Ga. -

The body of a Gwinnett woman missing since March 30 has been found. Police said the body of Angela Rabotte was found in a wooded area near the intersection of Lilburn Industrial Way and Arcado Road in Lilburn. Surveyors working in the area located the body around 10:30 a.m.

Thursday afternoon, police told FOX 5 they were currently questioning a person in custody on an unrelated incident in connection to the death of Angela Rabotte.

Police said foul play is suspected and the case is now a homicide investigation. Lilburn police will lead the investigation.

Rabotte was last seen alive on March 29 around 6:00 a.m. in the Steeplechase Apartments parking lot in Norcross.

The GBI was asked to assist in the investigation. No word yet on the cause of death.
