DETROIT (WJBK) - Monday was a very special day for young Ainsley.

The three-year-old and has been a patient of Dr. Jeffrey Taub's at Children's Hospital of Michigan since she was one.

Ainsley and her family live in Marquette, Mich. and have been commuting to Detroit every Monday for the past 22 weeks. However, Monday marked her last day of chemotherapy, and her very first Detroit Tigers game.

Ainsley's mom Patty Williams says her father surprised them all with tickets to the Tigers home opener. "She was super excited," said Patty, who noted that Ainsley had to get on the carousel right away.

Of course, she takes credit for the team's 4-3 win as well!

"She's doing great!" said Patty.
