Entertainment Anchor Julie Chang, Two Different Cultures

Midday Sunday's guest is our own, FOX 11 Entertainment Anchor Julie Chang.

Born in Korea but raised in the United States, Julie represents southern California's fastest growing ethnic community.

On the program, Julie talks about growing up in the U.S. and adapting to two, sometimes very different cultures.  She also reminisces about her career growth, leading up to her arrival in Los Angeles.  Julie also updates us on the status of her recent brain surgery and the sometimes challenging recovery process.

    A 17-year-old pedestrian was killed and his brother was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident in North Hollywood that may have occurred during a street race, police said.The accident occurred in the 7000 block of Whitsett Avenue around 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to an officer from the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Division.
