HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. -

He's supposed to eliminate pests from your home, but police said he was being one instead.

A local exterminator is accused of stealing money from the home of one of his customers, twice.

Police said Nolan Walters could have more victims of his Huntingdon Valley based business.

The victim said she was home both times when she was ripped off.

She agreed to talk to us in hopes she could help others but wanted us to hide her identity.

Accused of stealing from his customers, exterminator Nolan Walters sped away when confronted about the allegations.

"I absolutely had no idea, thought he's too nice of a guy. There is no way he would ever steal from us," the victim said.

The woman was stunned when police confirmed her fears.

They said Walters stole $340 from a drawer inside their home last month and $300 more from the same place on Tuesday.

Investigators said they set up a camera on her bookshelf that captured the second theft.

"We had actually recorded the serial numbers off the money prior to him showing up. When he was taken into custody, the money that he had on him was the same serialized money we had recorded," said Detective Pete Stark of the Northampton Police Department.

The victim said she had been using Walters Exterminating Services for more than a decade, and she said Nolan had done the work himself for the past two years.

She considered him a friend, and said he even offered support to her when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

"He would have tears rolling down his eyes, and he would say to me, 'You are just such an inspiration. I wish more people were like you,'" the victim said.

She said the surveillance video shows he didn't even bother to spray her baseboards during the second alleged incident.

"I'd like to know what's in his tank, if he does anything," she said.

Walters is charged with theft and receiving stolen property, both misdemeanors.

He is currently out of jail and could still be working, something that doesn't sit well with the victim.

"He's out there, and he stole from me, and he could be stealing from other people," she said.

Police said they've also heard from another potential victims and expect more to come forward.

If you think you've been victimized, you're asked to call Northampton police at 215-322-6111.
