Mike Minor to start first game after injury against Reds

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA - The Atlanta Braves depleted pitching staff could have some help on the way as Mike Minor is expected to join the squad soon.

Minor started the season on the DL and has been rehabbing his injured shoulder. Word is the braves are planning to give mike minor his first start of the season on Saturday against the Cincinnati Reds.

Minor has recently been rehabbing with the Gwinnett Braves and looked strong in his fourth and final rehab start on Saturday.

Minor could be a big help for the Braves pitching staff which has been decimated by injuries.

Minor’s return could leave starting pitcher David Hale the odd man out of the rotation. Minor is 32-24 with a 3.90 ERA in 4 seasons with the Braves.
