WINTER PARK, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Seminole County tactical teams swarmed a Winter Park home in connection with that deadly day care crash Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators say accused hit and run driver Robert Corchado left his Dodge Durango at the home on North Orange Avenue in Winter Park shortly after the crash two weeks ago.

Detectives say they were looking for evidence in connection to the case.

Officials say 30-year old Seyoum Cameron was arrested for a misdemeanor drug charge but the search warrant was related to the day care crash.

FOX 35 has learned the Sheriff’s Office is not releasing what information led them to search the home at this time.

Cameron will face a judge Thursday morning.

Corchado is accused of crashing into another car that slammed through the wall of the KinderCare day care in Winter Park. One child was killed and 14-others hurt were.

Corchado is accused of leaving the scene of that accident before he was arrested days later following a massive man hunt.
