Police are searching for the burglars who were caught on camera targeting a local business with a deep history in Central Florida.
They stole thousands of dollars in merchandise from Randall Knife Company. The Randall family has been making knives for more than 70 years in Orlando. Many of our soldiers in World War II carried Randall knives into battle.
Crimeline Executive Director Barb Bergin and Edgewood Police Department Sergeant Ron Beardslee are hoping by releasing this video they will be able to catch the crooks. They said the burglars tried to turn off the alarm before breaking into Randall Knife Company. They tried to get into the front of the store before breaking through a side window and stealing weapons.
Bergin and Sergeant Beardslee said if you know anyone who happens to have these expensive, collectors knives and does not seem as though they should, please contact Crimeline immediately by calling 1-800-423-TIPS.
