NYPD: Man Stole $25K in Prescription Drugs

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Police are on the hunt for a suspect that robbed a pharmaceutical deliveryman in Queens..

The suspect held up a 49-year-old deliveryman with a gun on 150th Street and 14th Avenue in Whitestone at around 8 a.m. last Friday.  He forced the deliveryman to sit in the passenger seat while he drove all the way to Yonkers, and the victim was then told to leave the car.

The suspect then drove off.

He stole the man's vehicle which contained around $25,000 in prescription drugs.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
