There are hundreds of beauty products out there that promise to make your skin glow and turn back the hand of aging. But did you know you can get some of those same benefits from products in your kitchen?
Esthetician Mindy Black shared three affordable, all-natural beauty products you probably have right now.
1. Champagne as toner Black said champagne has anti-aging properties from the grape-seed extract in it. That extract is found in a number of skin care products. If you have leftover champagne you do not want to throw away, apply topically with a cotton ball once a day to tone your skin.
2. Coffee to minimize redness Caffeine is found in a number of eye creams because it constricts blood vessels and reduces redness. Recycle old coffee by chilling it and applying it on your skin for five to ten minutes.
3. Lemons as exfoliates The citric acid in lemons breaks down dead skin. It brightens and fades dark spots as well. Black recommends rubbing your skin with half a lemon or applying lemon juice with a brush and leaving it on for 15-20 minutes.
