Wet weather continues throughout Central Florida

Posted: Updated:
FOX 35 meteorologist Jayme King says heavy rains, damaging winds and lightning are on the radar again Thursday afternoon.

The strong weather is expected to head into town around 2:00pm and be the beginning of a potentially wet weekend.

It will be warm and humid with increasing pm clouds.

Highs near 89° in the interior, mid-80s along the beaches.

Rain chances are high today and near 60% generally after 2pm.

Heavy rain, wind and lightning will accompany many of the storms that manage to develop.

Overnight lows near 70° with scattered clouds.

An isolated shower late tonight into tomorrow morning would not surprise me.

Trending wetter for the 1st part of the weekend, dry by Sunday.
