Police find rape suspect after he cuts off electronic monitoring device

Charlotte, NC - (WJZY)-CMPD have located and arrested Eddie Stokley, 28, after he cut his electronic monitoring device off on Sunday.

Stokley was wanted by CMPD on outstanding warrants for Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device and Rape.

On Saturday, April 8th, Stokley was ordered by the court to wear a CMPD electronic monitoring device as a part of his pre-trail release.
