Elderly man with memory loss reported missing

Police are searching for an elderly man with memory loss who was last seen in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the southwest side.

Fernando Sanchez, 75, was last seen Monday in the area of the 4100 block of South Western Avenue, according to an alert from Chicago Police.

Sanchez was wearing a beige baseball cap with black lettering, a sky blue lightweight jacket with a matching button-down collared shirt, khaki pants and white gym shoes, the alert said.

He was described as a medium-complected Hispanic man with gray hair and brown eyes, standing 5-foot-2 and weighing 140 pounds.

Sanchez enjoys shooting pool and frequents establishments from the 4200 to 5700 blocks of South Kedzie Avenue, police said.

Sanchez suffers “slight memory loss,” according to police.
