ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
Ladies – and men – summer is here. That means less clothing, but more of a chance for people to see your cellulite and have your confidence take a hit.
Never fear, you are not alone. About 90 percent of women have cellulite. There are some at-home remedies that can help.
The type of underwear you wear can affect the appearance of cellulite. Loose-fitting underwear, or underwear that doesn’t bunch under the buttocks, is a good alternative.
When you sleep at night, it’s a good option to not wear underwear under your sleepwear. You can also choose to sleep in the nude. Your body needs to breathe and the blood needs to circulate, which will reduce cellulite.
You can also use a body brush to scrub briskly at your skin while it’s dry. This increases circulation and can help.
Drink a lot of water. That eliminates toxins. Diet, exercise and lifestyle can help increase good blood flow.
Getting a massage helps to release toxins from the fat cells as well.
When your body is sleeping, your body is detoxing 50 percent of the lymphatic fluid.
The last option is getting a spray tan. At the very least, tan fat is prettier than white fat.
