LANSDALE, Pa. -

Have you ever heard the saying "something was meant to happen?"

For motivational speaker Joe Dwyer, telling stories seem easy.

The students at Knapp elementary get to listen to Daniel's story.

Daniel, is a cute 3-year-old beagle, and he has an unbelievable tale.

"He was 1 of 18 dogs placed in a gas chamber after 30 minutes in the chamber unfortunately the others have lost their life but Daniel was alive. which is nothing short of an absolute miracle," said Joe.

There are a lot of people who don't realize there are 80000 lose their life a week in our shelters," added Dwyer.

Joe and Daniel travel across the country speaking, hoping one day to ban ALL kill shelters.

"He knows he is doing something good when he comes to a place like this you can see it he's happy wagging his tale he's meeting people," said Dwyer.
