Ga. police seek home for kitten thrown from car

TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (AP) - The Tybee Island Police Department is looking for someone to care for a kitten tossed from a moving car.

WSAV-TV reports that someone brought the injured kitten to the police station on Saturday after seeing it thrown from a car window on Highway 80. The cat's eyes and mouth were injured.

Someone has volunteered to care for the kitten temporarily, but police want to find a foster or permanent home.
