Zane Bloomer, arrested in Brooksville for aggravated abuse on a disabled adult
BROOKSVILLE (FOX 13) -
A man has been arrested for a violent attack on his double amputee roommate, Brooksville Police officials said Monday.
It happened at an apartment on the 700 block of South Main Street. Police were called after they say 53-year-old Zane Bloomer grabbed his disabled roommate, threw her against a wall, hit her in the head with a beer bottle and then knocked her to the ground once again.
The woman had minor cuts on her head when police arrived, but they say she refused medical treatment.
As for Bloomer, they arrested him for aggravated abuse on a disabled adult and held him at the Hernando County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
