Bully's Punishment Sparking Controversy

Posted: Updated:

DERWOOD, M.D.- A photo is sparking up controversy in Maryland, after a young girl was photographed holding a sign that read "I AM A BULLY. HONK TO STOP BULLYING."

The person who sent in this photo says she took it as she was driving past the girl Wednesday afternoon. She also says the lady holding her phone in the background is the girl's mother.

Of course, reaction to what's depicted in the photo varies... Depending on who you speak to.

"I don't think that's the right way to go about it. I think bullying is awful but to put your kid out there... I feel like that's kind of bullying them in a way. Embarrassing them isn't really the way to teach them a lesson about embarrassing and hurting other people," said one parent

"I'm not saying it's a bad thing.... you know... because it teaches the kid a lesson. Everything comes with a prince in life. You gotta love this kid," added local parent Janet Miller.
