Good Samaritans Rescue Deer From Flood Waters

Posted: Updated:

Kansas City, MO-Good Samaritans rushed to rescue a deer stranded in high waters, and the entire thing was caught on camera.

After two days of torrential rainfall in Kansas City, the little fella had trouble finding higher ground.

Firefighters tried rescuing him twice, but both times the deer ran away.

So, crews decided to let the water recede and let the animal fend for himself.

However, three Good Samaritans decided to take matters into their own hands.

One of them jumped into the water, and safely brought the deer to dry ground.

The animal is said to be doing okay and recovering at the Lakeside Nature Center.
