Posted: Updated:
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (MyFoxTampaBay.com) --- Deputies are looking for a missing 16-year-old girl who they say may be in the company of a registered sex offender.

They say Ashley Lyon left her home in Valrico around 4 p.m. Wednesday and hasn’t been seen since.

The sheriff’s office says she may be with Steven Patrick Myers, 41, a registered sexual offender who lives on Dormandy Road in Plant City.

Ashley was last seen wearing black tank top, black gym shorts, black "Vans" shoes and may be in a 1989 Ford Ranger pick-up with flames painted on the front and sides, the sheriff’s office said.

The truck has a Florida Tag CSJ-M45.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
