$1.8 Billion Mecklenburg County Budget Approved

Mecklenburg County Commissioners approved a $1.8 billion 2015 budget on Tuesday night.

A few weeks ago, County Manager Dena Diorio recommended more than 50 percent of the budget go towards education.

Her plan called for keeping the property tax rate the same. It also allocated funds for parks and libraries.
