Blind, Autistic Boy Spreading The Gift Of Music In Los Angeles

Posted: Updated:

Los Angeles, CA - He's blind and autistic but with the help of his father, Pauly Avila is giving the gift of music to the homeless. He is the FOX 11 Viewer of the week and the focus of Gina's People.

17-year old Pauly loves all types of music, anything with a good rhythm or beat and he’ll sit there for hours listening to his head phones.

So, his father Paul came up with an idea. Why not give the gift of music to others!

Together with his son Pauly, they hit skid row in downtown Los Angeles, often going to the Midnight Mission to distribute radio headsets to the homeless. They call it Pauly’s Project.

Check out the official website for Pauly's Project to see how you can help.
