Orlando Police are investigating a death that occurred Thursday night on Crestlawn Avenue.
According to police, 23-year-old Kalin De'Anthony Clark, stumbled, with gunshot wounds, into a family’s home in the 1600 block of Crestlawn Avenue just before 10 p.m. Thursday night.
A woman who lives at the home encountered the victim, who does not live at the home. She says she heard gunshots, and feared for her son's safety so she came running outside her home to see what happened.
The woman was then met at the carport door by the gunshot victim who stumbled inside the home begging her for help. According to the woman, the man told her that he was going to die.
According to the woman, the man followed her through the house. Initially, she did not know what to think of a stranger in her home until she realized he needed help. She says the victim finally collapsed on the floor of the master bedroom near the television where he died.
The woman and her boyfriend, who were the last to see the victim alive, say they are traumatized and want to move. But before that can happen, they have a big mess on they hands.
Crestlawn Avenue was blocked off for multiple hours overnight while the investigation both inside the home and out of the street was underway.
Orlando Police are continuing this investigation. Investigators say if you have any information about this homicide, call Crimeline, 423-TIPS.
