The news came Sunday, the day a neighborhood group organized a search for the children. Police believe Alicia Fox, 23, was shot and killed in her home on Ardmore in Detroit around the end of May. Her body was discovered on Penrod June 3. Her two children, Kayla, 6, and Kristian, 8 months, have never been found. Police arrested Fox's husband Erin Justice, 28, in Georgia and charged him with murder. Timothy Jones, 27, was also arrested in Detroit. Police believe he helped Justice clean up the bloody crime scene and bury Fox's body. Now, Fox 2 is learning Jones is telling deputies at the Wayne County Jail he can direct them to the children. Jones says Justice is responsible for the disappearance of the children, but he also insists he get a deal from authorities in exchange for the information.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's office says there's nothing to comment on and the Wayne County Sheriff also declined to comment. Minister Malik Shabazz lead a search for the children Sunday, handing out flyers and calling on anyone with information to come forward.
