Seven months after David Bird's disappearance, reward offered for information

Today, Aug. 11, marks seven months since David Bird disappeared. According to the Long Hill Township Police Department, a $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the return of David Bird, who disappeared while taking a short walk near his Long Hill Township home.

The $10,000 reward was contributed by Dow Jones & Co., which publishes The Wall Street Journal and for whom Bird has worked for more than 20 years. Witnesses are encouraged to call the Long Hill Township Police at (908) 647-1800. The LHTPD follows up on all leads.
